Okay, y’all — it’s time for something new. It’s been a hot minute since I last wrote, and that’s for a few reasons.

I was not expecting to like this book as much as I did. I also read the whole thing in one sitting, which is usually a good sign that it didn’t suck.

I bit off more than I can chew, but what else is new? Here are a few small switcheroos I’m making to guarantee I hit my quotas this month.

I fully admit I picked this book because of Birdman — it lived up to the existential angst and low-key insanity.

April seems to be the month of “I had no idea what I was getting into when I started this book but oh my God I loved every second of it.” Couldn’t be truer for The Argonauts.

In just 111 pages, I leave with a huge crush on Annie Dillard and the urge to buy a one-room cabin in the PNW.

A book worthy of a tearful sigh and a long hug to the chest when you finish it at 3 AM.
